WAVE1 is a set of world peace events, the first of which took place on June 18, 2008.  For 24 hours, over 1 million participants in 40 countries helped spread a wave of love and joy around the world.  This event helped establish our global fellowship dedicated to bringing peace, sustainability and balance to the Earth.

hair-relics.jpgCDR.jpgWAVE1 was inspired by a Tibetan yogi named Chosyang Dorje Rinpoche, who spent 45 years meditating on love and joy. At the end of his 45-year retreat, there were 2000 beautiful pearl-like  crystals, called ringsel , dangling from his hair. These ringsel were a manifestation of the great yogi's love and joy, capturing his purest essence. 

We are all capable of creating something that captures our purest essence and that transmits love and joy to others. But what do we want to create? For many of us, there is only one answer: We want to create healing for the Earth and all its inhabitants during this time of turbulent change. We want to serve as instruments of healing for the entire planet, ushering in an age of peace, sustainability, and balance.

Each WAVE1 event is a wave of love and joy circling the planet. The "1" stands for: oneworld.jpg

  • One world: The events taking place throughout the world make us acutely aware that what affects one of us affects all of us.
  • One circle: Those of us who are committed to the healing of the Earth are one community, regardless of our beliefs or practices. It is time for us not only to embrace this global heaing circle but also to put it to work for the benefit of all beings.
  • One cause: We are linked together by our common intention, which is to serve the healing needs of the Earth and its inhabitants. There are many ways we can do this. Creating a wave of love and joy that circles the planet is just the beginning.

waterwave01.jpgWAVE1 supports any practice that focuses on love and joy and that is dedicated to the Earth and all its ihabitants.  If you would like to participate in future WAVE1 events but do not have a specific practice, we recommend that you carry out the following very simple meditation: FILL WITH LOVE, RADIATE JOY .
